MIDI, Inc. was founded in 1985.  We are the manufacturer of the Sherlock Microbial Identification System based on gas chromatographic analysis of the whole cell fatty acid content. Sherlock identifies aerobic bacteria, anaerobic bacteria, yeast and fungi.
